    The Opportunity:

    The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Long-Term Care residence including resident care, programs, services, environmental coordination, and fiscal performance.


    What Is In It For You:
    • Promotes the philosophy of Resident Centered Care, which supports the implementation and maintenance of programs and services to ensure the quality of life for residents.
    • Ensures the maintenance of a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors through the development and implementation of departmental procedures and standards.
    • Develops and implements an efficient system of resident admissions and discharges through effective liaison with residents, relatives or responsible persons, physicians, pharmacists, health care facilities, etc.
    • Responds to resident or family member concerns and ensures appropriate action is taken within decision-making authority and/or brings to the attention of the Director Regional Operations.

  • Director Of Nursing 

    The Director of Care is a senior member of the management team and is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the nursing department including providing optimum resident care, management of human resources and ensuring financial accountability within legislative and budgetary requirements. Assists in managing other departments within the facility during the absence of the administrator; and refers to the attention of the Administrator any issues which are not able to be resolved or require collaboration. Reporting to: Administrator

  • Nurse Practitioner 

    Position Summary:
    The Nurse Practitioner is a primary care provider and an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive, client-centred care. Working within their legislative scope of practice as described and outlined by College of Nurses of Ontario, the Nurse Practitioner completes assessments, is authorized to diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication and other treatments., health promotion, education and referrals while helping reduce barriers to care.
